UMass Lowell is a national and regional leader in online education, according to 2019 rankings recently released by U.S. News & World Report.
The online graduate programs in Criminal Justice and Information Technology are ranked in the top 10 in the nation, and the College of Education’s graduate programs were ranked in the top 20.
Among the notable rankings, UMass Lowell stands out as a leader in online education for veterans based on a #3 ranking for the Best Online Graduate Criminal Justice Programs for Veterans and a #6 ranking Best Online Graduate Computer Information Technology Programs for Veterans.
The university’s online bachelor’s degrees were also ranked high, coming in at #25 for Best Online Bachelor’s Programs of more than 200 public and private programs ranked nationwide.
The Online Graduate Criminal Justice program was ranked #5 nationally, and includes Master Degree options in Criminal Justice, Cybersecurity, Homeland Defense, Industrial & Economic Security, Critical Infrastructure Protection, and International Security.
Among the high rankings for UMass Lowell are the College of Education’s graduate programs, which are #19 in the nation. Online education programs include degrees in policy, leadership, administration, and curriculum and instruction with options such as teaching individuals with autism and subjects such as science, technology, reading and language.
The university’s graduate business programs were ranked #33 in the nation.
